Parenting Classes/Family Stabilization

This Course may also be known as family stabilization or parent education. The goal for this class is to help you as the parent to know what to expect as your child ages as far as developmental stages and behaviors and to anticipate and respond in appropriate ways to better your child and their future as well as your family life right now.  

 This class will educate parents on the developmental stages of childhood, and the effect of environmental factors on their child’s development. Class also examines parenting styles and practices. Parents receive concrete strategies for establishing appropriate and realistic expectations; responding to and managing their child’s needs and behaviors; and developing norms for healthy family communication and teamwork. 

Courses will also include:

• Divorce as a loss
•  Permanency of Parental Role/Shared Parenting 
•  Communicating with Children in a Divorce Situation 
•  Communicating with the Other Parent 
•  Abuse 
•  Legal Concepts 
•  Parenting Time 
• Quiz

 The parenting course shall include an end of course test designed to demonstrate the level of comprehension of the learning objectives by the participants.  Participants shall have an unlimited number of attempts to pass the end of course test, but will be limited in how many days the course will remain open. You have two days to complete this course. This course should be taken as soon as you sign up for it in order to complete the certified course. So do not sign up until you are fully ready to take the course. 

There is also a 2 step verification to ensure you have taken the course and have passed the quiz. 

Step:1 Take the quiz after completion of the course. 

Step: 2 Take a screen shot of the completed quiz with your name visible in order to receive your certificate.

The  parenting course shall be a minimum of four (4) hours of course instruction, including the time required for instruction, participant exercises and an end of course test. Online courses shall have a mechanism that prevents participants from completing the course in less than four (4) hours. 

Cost for this class is:

$43.95 per class through our on-line program above where it says "Click here for course". You must purchase your own work books, but the way the course is designed you may not need them. Follow instructions Carefully. Should you need an e-book the cost for the book is $25.00

• In-person proctor will cost $100.00 per person per class, no exceptions.

At course completion a certificate of completion will be available for download and will be sent to you via email. (please call for certificate) (754) 303-9976 The certificate can also be sent by email to the party that has required that you complete this class. The certificate of completion shall include the name of the course, the unique name of the curriculum, and the date the parent began the course and the date the parent finished the course.
