 Reflecting on an Amazing Mental Health Workshop! 

On October 11, 2025, Healthy Minds Therapeutic Services hosted a truly inspiring and impactful Mental Health Workshop that brought together professionals, clients, and community members for a day of healing, learning, and connection. The energy in the room was nothing short of amazing! Participants engaged in open conversations about emotional wellness, coping strategies, and the power of self-awareness — leaving everyone motivated to continue their personal growth journeys.

We are also excited to celebrate Sensational Faces as a proud part of the Healthy Minds family!

At Healthy Minds Therapeutic Services, we continue to expand our programs to meet the growing needs of our community. From mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, IOP/OP/Aftercare services, and wellness support, we’re dedicated to helping individuals achieve balance in mind, body, and spirit.

Our very own Chaplin Lionel Nelson was featured on a podcast 5/18/2026 highlighting the dangers or pitfalls in men when they do not have a safe space or the ability to be their true selves. What a wonderful segment for men to talk about those things.

 Behavioral health is strongest when community providers work together instead of separately. Grateful for the opportunity to network with the Ft. Lauderdale behavioral health community, build meaningful connections, and continue creating pathways for individuals and families to access quality mental health and substance abuse services. Collaboration matters, and together we can make a greater impact across Broward County. 

 Tiesha Carvil, MSW, enjoys connecting with ARNPs, physicians, therapists, and other behavioral health professionals throughout the Ft. Lauderdale community to have meaningful conversations about mental health, substance abuse, and access to care. Through networking and collaboration, she continues building relationships that strengthen community support systems and create better outcomes for individuals and families seeking help. True change happens when providers come together with one common goal — helping people heal. 

 One of the most valuable parts of networking within the behavioral health community is the opportunity to learn from one another. Every conversation with community leaders brings new insight into the needs of the people we serve. Learning within the community allows us to strengthen resources, improve collaboration, and continue growing as professionals while creating better support systems for individuals and families facing mental health and substance abuse challenges. Strong communities are built when professionals stay connected, informed, and willing to grow together.
